Job summary

TERADYNE, a leader in innovation, is seeking an electronics technician to support PCBAs and system setups in our Lapu-Lapu facility. The role focuses on repairing, testing, and validating boards, with strict adherence to procedures and quality standards.

You will perform troubleshooting, de/soldering, and component rework, while packing and shipping completed boards and collaborating with engineers to improve processes. Local candidates only, visa sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics graduates with relevant experience in board repair.
• Knowledgeable in electronics board troubleshooting, de/soldering, and repair.
• Experience in hardware/software validation and verification for medium and high-end testers is an advantage.
• Goal and results-oriented, flexible, and hardworking.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Keen attention to details, 100% compliance with PCBA handling procedures, must be physically able to pick up PCBA Assemblies and place inside a system or TBUs.
• Run the full test procedures of Teradyne PCBAs and System set-up based on the defined procedure.
• Interpret failure datalog from test programs and follow defined troubleshooting steps to fix the PCBA; work with other Technician, Engineer, or Supervisor for failures that are not yet defined.
• Run a number of defined specific steps to properly fix the PCBA performing repetitive defined testing and troubleshooting procedures.
• Perform visual inspection to ensure units have been reassembled/reworked and free from physical defects.
• Perform packing and shipping of boards.
• Works with other Technicians and Engineers in process and quality improvements, reliability issues as well as meeting department/section goals.
• Comply with company rules, policies, guidelines, and procedures.
