Job summary

Teradyne Philippines in Cebu is seeking a Test Technician for a temporary assignment. You will follow PCBA handling procedures, run test procedures, interpret datalogs, and collaborate with engineers and supervisors to troubleshoot failures.

Qualifications

• Electronics Technology or Industrial Electronics graduates with relevant experience in board repair.
• Knowledgeable in electronics board troubleshooting, de/soldering, and repair.
• Experience in hardware validation and verification for medium and high-end testers is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Run full test procedures of Teradyne PCBAs and System set-up per procedure.
• Interpret failure datalog from test programs and troubleshoot with engineers or supervisors.
• Fix PCBA by performing defined steps and conduct repetitive testing.
• Perform visual inspection to ensure proper reassembly and absence of defects.
• Handle packing and shipping of boards.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers on process and quality improvements.

Opportunity Overview

• Keen attention to details, 100% compliance with PCBA handling procedures, must be physically able to pick up PCBA Assemblies and place inside a system or TBUs.
• Run the full test procedures of Teradyne PCBAs and System set-up based on the defined procedure.
• Interpret failure datalog from test programs and follow defined troubleshooting steps to fix the PCBA; work with other Technician, Engineer, or Supervisor for failures that are not yet defined.
• Run a number of defined specific steps to properly fix the PCBA performing repetitive defined testing and troubleshooting procedures.
• Perform visual inspection to ensure units have been reassembled/reworked and free from physical defects.
• Perform packing and shipping of boards.
• Works with other Technicians and Engineers in process and quality improvements, reliability issues as well as meeting department/section goals.
• Comply with company rules, policies, guidelines, and procedures.
