Job summary

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to drive the end-to-end QA strategy and testing lifecycle for enterprise VisionPLUS software implementations within the banking and financial services sector. In this pivotal role, you will lead a dedicated team of QA engineers, oversee critical functional and module testing across the card lifecycle, and serve as the main bridge between technical delivery teams and senior business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and direct a team of software testers across the full QA lifecycle—defining test approaches for functional, integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Oversee execution and test scenario coverage for core VisionPLUS modules (CMS, FAS, TRAMS, etc.), validating key processes including card issuance, authorizations, settlements, billing, and collections
• Translate complex, high-level banking business requirements into detailed, execution-ready test strategies and test cases
• Spearhead defect triage sessions, track defect metrics, isolate root causes using SQL/Mainframe environments, and ensure rapid resolution ahead of production deployment
• Act as the primary QA point of contact for Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects, delivering clear reporting on testing progress, risk analysis, and release readiness
• Identify testing process gaps, advocate for test automation, and implement QA best practices to accelerate delivery cycles

About you

• Minimum 6+ years of total software testing experience, with at least 3+ years dedicated specifically to VisionPLUS packaged software (CMS, FAS, TRAMS modules)
• Deep functional domain knowledge of credit card management, authorization workflows, transaction processing, and card lifecycle management
• Proven hands-on capability in Mainframe navigation (JCL, job submission, status troubleshooting) and SQL for backend database validation
• Demonstrated experience leading test teams, managing test execution schedules, and utilizing test management tools like JIRA
• Prior experience in retail banking, personal loans, or consumer lending platforms
• Exposure to QA automation frameworks and CI/CD testing integration
• Completed Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience paired with matching technical skills
