Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to oversee the end-to-end testing lifecycle for VisionPLUS packaged software implementations in the banking and financial services sector.

In this role, you will leverage deep card management domain expertise to translate high-level business requirements into comprehensive test strategies, manage a dedicated team of testers, and serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical execution teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

VisionPLUS & Domain Expertise

• Utilize deep knowledge of the VisionPLUS software landscape to lead functional and end-to-end testing initiatives.

• Validate complete card lifecycle processes, including Issuance, Authorization, Settlement, Billing, and Collections.

• Oversee hands-on functional testing across core VisionPLUS modules (CMS, FAS, TRAMS, etc.).

Requirement Analysis & Test Strategy

• Interpret high-level business requirements to craft detailed test strategies, test plans, and scope definitions aligned with business and regulatory compliance goals.

• Partner with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and Developers to clarify specifications and ensure complete test coverage.

• Oversee manual test case creation and validation to ensure full alignment with functional requirements.

Test Planning & Leadership

• Define test approaches for functional, integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Distribute tasks, monitor team output, and mentor testers to ensure quality and timely milestones.

• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to establish and maintain stable test environments.

Execution, Defect Management & Reporting

• Lead defect triage sessions, track resolution cycles, and resolve blocking issues.

• Prepare clear metrics and reports covering test execution progress, coverage, defect trends, and overall production readiness.

• Keep Project Managers and business stakeholders informed of testing progress, key risks, and mitigation plans.

Process Improvement

• Evaluate current testing frameworks to introduce operational best practices and process enhancements.

• Advocate for testing efficiency, test automation, and continuous integration wherever applicable.

Key Qualifications

• Core Technical Expertise: Proven track record in testing VisionPLUS packaged software within banking or fintech environments.

• Domain Knowledge: Strong mastery of Credit Card Management functionality. Knowledge of Loans/Lending modules is a strong plus.

• Leadership Experience: Hands-on experience leading QA teams, defining test strategies, and managing multi-module test executions.

• Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills with experience presenting defect metrics and test readiness to technical leads and executive stakeholders.
