Job summary

d.light is seeking a results-driven field sales professional to drive revenue across designated Ugandan territories. You will lead direct selling to retail outlets, recruit and manage partners, expand customer base, and ensure stock availability and timely payments.

You will monitor market trends, engage with customers at multiple touchpoints, and push for new channels while maintaining strong relationships with clients and distributors.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of proven sales experience with a track record.
• Bachelor's degree, diploma, or certificate in a business-related field.
• Experience in rapid sales growth environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales targets across designated territories.
• Create awareness and direct-sell to retail outlets.
• Recruit and manage Sales & Engagement Partners.
• Identify new customers and expand the business.
• Monitor sales data and respond to customer queries and complaints.
• Ensure stock availability across outlets.
• Activate new channels—Experience Centers, Phone shops, Retail Distributors.
• Maintain stock safety and minimum levels with SEPs.
• Follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely settlements.
