Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and servicing for compliance and tracking.
• Conduct preventative maintenance schedules to extend equipment lifespan.

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to join ZC Kings Manpower Janitorial Services Cooperative in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and servicing equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational performance across our facilities. As a Technician, you will be responsible for diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency. Your technical expertise will be essential in supporting the smooth delivery of our janitorial and facility management services.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on cleaning equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure they operate at peak performance
• Diagnose technical faults and malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions
• Repair and replace defective components, parts, and equipment in a timely manner to minimise service disruptions
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment servicing for compliance and tracking purposes
• Conduct preventative maintenance schedules to extend equipment lifespan and reduce emergency repair costs
• Test equipment and systems following repairs to ensure they meet safety and operational standards
• Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance activities and prioritise urgent repairs
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations when performing technical work
• Report on equipment status and provide recommendations for upgrades or replacements when necessary

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Technician or in a similar maintenance role within the janitorial, facility management, or related services industry
• Strong technical knowledge of cleaning equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, or other facility infrastructure
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment to identify and troubleshoot problems
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a methodical approach to repairs and maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams
• Physical capability to lift heavy equipment, work at heights, and perform tasks in various environmental conditions
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites as required
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in HVAC, electrical systems, or equipment maintenance are highly desirable
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and adherence to regulatory standards
