About the role

Exxel Prime International Trading Inc. is seeking a skilled Machine Technician to join our team in Caloocan City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position where you will play a critical role in maintaining, repairing, and optimising our machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operations across our facilities. As a Machine Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and implementing solutions that minimise downtime and maximise productivity. Your expertise will directly contribute to the efficiency and reliability of our operations, making this a pivotal position within our technical services team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system faults using appropriate tools and testing equipment
• Repair or replace faulty machinery components, including motors, pumps, bearings, and transmission systems
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues before they become critical problems
• Document all maintenance and repair work completed, maintaining accurate records for compliance and operational purposes
• Operate and calibrate precision measurement instruments to verify equipment specifications and performance standards
• Collaborate with production staff to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimise operational disruptions
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment when required

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working as a Machine Technician or in a similar technical maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including engines, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement instruments
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and equipment manuals
• Sound understanding of electrical systems and basic troubleshooting capabilities
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Physical capability to perform hands‑on maintenance work, including lifting heavy components and working in various positions
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering, equipment maintenance, or a related field are highly valued
• Experience with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus
