About the role

Brookside Manpower Services is seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to join our growing team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment and contribute to the success of our operations. As a Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our technical systems and providing exceptional support to our clients. Your expertise and attention to detail will be instrumental in maintaining our reputation for quality service delivery.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair technical equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent equipment failures and extend operational lifespan
• Install, configure and test new equipment and components according to specifications
• Document all maintenance and repair activities, maintaining accurate records for compliance and tracking purposes
• Respond promptly to technical issues and service requests from clients and internal teams
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments to resolve complex technical problems
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards whilst performing all duties
• Provide technical support and guidance to users on equipment operation and troubleshooting
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend enhancements to existing systems

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Technician or in a similar technical role within the Trades & Services industry
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Knowledge of relevant tools, equipment and technologies used in the trade
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications and procedures accurately
• Physical fitness and capability to perform hands-on technical work, including lifting and working at heights where required
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Reliability, professionalism and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in your area of technical expertise are highly desirable
• Experience with preventative maintenance and asset management is preferred
• Valid driver's licence is advantageous for fieldwork or client visits
