About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join the team at TAPA KING INC. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities and equipment. Based in Pasig City, Metro Manila, this role is essential to maintaining our operational excellence and supporting the continued success of our business. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair and servicing of various equipment and systems, contributing directly to our ability to deliver quality service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections and servicing of equipment and machinery to ensure optimal functionality

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions

• Conduct preventive maintenance activities on schedule to minimise downtime and extend equipment lifespan

• Repair or replace faulty components, parts and systems as required

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs completed and any issues encountered

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues

• Collaborate with other team members to prioritise maintenance tasks and respond to urgent repair needs

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company maintenance standards

• Communicate effectively with management regarding equipment condition and maintenance requirements

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a fast-paced operational environment

• Technical knowledge of equipment maintenance, repair and troubleshooting procedures

• Proficiency in reading technical drawings, manuals and maintenance schedules

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing and working in various positions

• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively with team members

• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise multiple maintenance tasks

• Commitment to safety and adherence to health and safety regulations

• Valid technical certifications or relevant qualifications in maintenance or a related field (preferred)

• Proficiency in using maintenance management systems and basic computer skills (preferred)
