Job summary

ASA Color & Chemical Industries, Inc. seeks a technical graduate to support Sales and Marketing efforts by translating customer needs to the BUM and Warehouse team.

The role involves coordinating with multiple departments, conducting regular customer calls, and assisting the Account Managers with technical input. The candidate will travel outside Metro Manila as needed and contribute to forecasting, market expansion, and new customer development.

Qualifications

• Technical degree/graduate in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a variety of people.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Possess a valid driver’s license and can drive.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
• Ability to collaborate with others and work well on a team.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Willing to work long hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers’ needs are clearly communicated to the BUM and Inventory Control Coordinator of the Trading Warehouse.
• Coordinate with the BUM and Consumable Department on new developments or projects and provide input.
• Attend weekly Sales/Marketing meetings.
• Provide technical assistance to Account Managers and customers.
• Make regular customer calls as approved by COO/BUM for marketing and customer needs.
• Relay customer orders to sales coordinator and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain seamless communication between customers, sales, and plant personnel to maximize confidence and minimize conflicts.
• Prepare yearly forecasts for specific customers.
• Aim to increase market share.
• Collect due and overdue accounts from customers.
• Develop new customers and promote new products developed by ASA Color’s Technical department or partners.
• Willing to travel outside Metro Manila.
• Perform other duties and render overtime as needed.

Job description

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure that customers’ needs are clearly communicated to the BUM and Inventory Control Coordinator of the Trading Warehouse.

• Work in close coordination with the BUM and Consumable Department on the new developments or projects and provide input that are necessary.

• Attend weekly Sales/Marketing meeting.

• Make regular customer calls as agreed upon and determined by the COO/BUM for Marketing and customer needs.

• Relay customer orders to sales coordinator. Ascertain customer orders placed directly to sales coordinator, whenever there is discrepancy or uncertainty.

• Provide a seamless communications link between customers, sales coordinator, and plant personnel, maximizing customer confidence and minimizing conflicts through positive solution-oriented dialogues.

• Prepare yearly forecast of specific customer.

• Increase market share

• Collect due and overdue accounts

• Develop new customers.

• Promote new products that may be developed by ASA Color’s Technical department or technical partner.

• Willing to travel outside Metro Manila.

• Performs other duties as assigned, and renders overtime as needed

Required Experience, Skills and Technical Knowledge:
