Job summary

Sika Philippines Inc. is seeking a Technical and Sales Engineer – TM Concrete to support product applications and drive cement grinding product initiatives.

The role requires strong technical selling skills, admixture knowledge, and effective communication with customers and consultants at client sites. You will develop business plans, monitor competitors, and ensure timely invoicing and inventory control while leveraging Salesforce to manage opportunities and quotes.

Qualifications

• College graduate, preferably BS Civil Engineering.
• 3–4 years experience in ready-mix concrete.
• Strong technical selling skills.
• Technical knowledge on admixture.
• Good technical and presentation skills (verbal and written).
• Strong people, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to train and troubleshoot at client sites.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive manual/automatic.
• Experience with a multinational company is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in product application demonstrations to customers and consultants.
• Develop business plans and sales strategies; geographic coverage; market development.
• Execute successful sales, product initiatives, and launches for cement grinding products.
• Supervise workforce to maximize efficiency.
• Track competitor activities and provide inputs for marketing strategies.
• Analyze sales performance and remediate issues.
• Maintain customers with propositions and ensure service quality and growth.
• Feedback to R&D to maintain product quality and integrity.
• Monitor collections and ensure timely invoicing.
• Monitor distributor and customer inventory and storage.
• Respond to sales inquiries promptly using appropriate methods.
• Utilize Salesforce for sales activities (agenda, opportunities, quotes).
