Finastra Philippines Inc is seeking a Technical Engineer to serve as the primary interface between Finastra clients and the Universal Banking Customer Support organization. You will manage and resolve complex customer issues in a timely manner, providing technical guidance and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure a world‑class customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 2 years in technical or application support in enterprise software/fintech environments.
• Experience with C++ or Java is required.
• English communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests and help them use the product effectively.
• Understand and replicate reported issues in Finastra environments.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and provide solutions to stakeholders.
• Update clients on progress toward resolution and ensure timely fixes.
• Participate in client meetings (phone/WebEx) to accelerate investigations.
• Provide temporary bug fixes when needed and validate defects.
• Assist in building simple scripts with senior colleagues.
• Contribute to solutions documentation for faster future support.
• Raise issues with Team Leader/Manager when needed.
• Embed AI in day-to-day work to boost productivity and process improvements.
