Job summary

Finastra is seeking a Senior Technical Engineer, Customer Support in Manila. You will handle and resolve customer issues, perform technical investigations, and guide junior team members to ensure quick, high-quality resolutions that meet SLAs.

You will work in a hybrid setup, communicating effectively with clients, and leveraging your knowledge of Java, SQL, and fintech protocols to deliver reliable support and contribute to knowledge base improvements.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business IT or related major.
• 5+ years of solid experience in Technical Customer Support in fintech/payments.
• Knowledge of Finastra Payment Manager (FPM).
• Knowledge of Clearing and Settlement Mechanisms (SWIFT, SEPA, TIPS, UKFPS, BACS).
• Knowledge of Java programming (preferred) and SQL.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests, issues, and assistance to enable proper use of Finastra products.
• Understand issues from functional and technical perspectives and replicate scenarios in Finastra environments.
• Perform technical investigation with root cause analysis and provide solutions or detailed analysis to stakeholders.
• Update clients on progress and ensure timely resolution within SLA.
• Engage in client meetings/WebEx/Teams for remote troubleshooting as needed.
• Contribute to knowledge base and release notes for clients.
