Job summary

The Citadel Philippines is seeking a Tax and Compliance Manager to oversee all tax matters, filings and related requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will work with the Tax Director, Finance, CGS, and other stakeholders to design tax-saving initiatives and lead audits with agencies such as BIR and PEZA.

Strong leadership and deep knowledge of local tax laws are essential. You will manage the tax function, coordinate with regulators, review tax provisions, and guide the team through

Qualifications

• CPA with 8–10 years in tax compliance and BIR matters, including 3 years in a managerial role.
• Extensive knowledge of tax laws and regulations; international tax is a plus.
• Proven experience in leading, coaching, and developing tax staff.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Operations, HR and other units.
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Group's tax function, including compliance, advisory, audits, planning and alignment with strategies.
• Ensure timely preparation, review and filing of national and local tax returns and schedules.
• Serve as liaison with BIR, PEZA, BOI and other agencies, leading audits and disputes.
• Manage tax provision process and support financial reporting and disclosures.
• Provide strategic tax advice on transactions, restructurings, incentives and operations.
