Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines seeks a Tax Manager to lead the Tax Group and drive compliance for a large corporate client base. The role requires CPA or lawyer credentials with extensive tax practice and strong knowledge of BIR regulations. You will mentor staff and manage cross-border tax issues.

The ideal candidate will excel in communication in English and Tagalog, and demonstrate analytical problem solving, managerial courage, and a results-driven approach to tax strategy.

Qualifications

• Must be a CPA or lawyer with substantial tax experience.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax law and BIR regulations.
• Experience leading tax teams and advising on complex matters.
• Proven ability to train and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Tax Return Preparations, including submissions of necessary attachments and reports with the BIR.
• Handle the tax compliance requirements of the entire group of companies.
• Assist in Tax Audit Investigation from LGU and the BIR.
• Provide tax advice and conduct trainings and seminars on significant tax matters.
• Assist in the tax compliance requirements of cross border and other complex transactions.
• Draft position papers, requests for ruling, and other documents with government agencies.
• Verbal and written correspondence with government agencies.
