Job summary

Red Planet Philippines Services Corporation is seeking a seasoned Tax Manager to lead the tax function in Makati. The role reports to the Senior Director of Finance and Accounting and covers compliance with BIR reporting, tax audit coordination, and tax planning to optimize liabilities.

The ideal candidate has a CPA or equivalent with at least 5 years in tax, strong analytical skills, and excellence in MS Office and accounting software. On-site in Makati with full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience intax/tax compliance.
• Experience in BIR reportorial and deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Results-oriented with urgency to meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English/Filipino.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Senior Director of Finance and Accounting.
• Support compliance with laws and government regulations.
• Ensure 100% Philippines tax compliance for operations.
• Coordinate with tax auditors and consultants.
• Negotiate tax issues with authorities.
• Identify tax risks and savings opportunities.
• Research, analyze, and interpret current tax laws.
• Ensure timely filing with BIR and other tax authorities.
• Assist with deadlines, extensions, and audits.
