Job summary

Private Advertiser in the Philippines is seeking a Tax Manager to lead our tax function within the Finance team. You will oversee compliance, reporting, and planning, ensuring alignment with Philippine tax laws and regulations while coordinating with auditors, advisors, and government agencies.

The ideal candidate has a CPA, 5–8 years tax experience, supervisory experience, strong knowledge of BIR rules, and proficiency in Excel and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA license is preferred.
• 5–8 years of relevant taxation experience, preferably with supervision/management.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and BIR regulations.
• Experience handling BIR tax audits, assessments, and compliance.
• Strong understanding of tax accounting and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation, review, and filing of tax returns, reports, and other statutory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine tax laws, rules, and regulations.
• Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely submission of filings and payments.
• Review tax computations, schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents.
• Provide guidance to Finance and other business units on tax-related matters.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies as needed.
• Identify potential tax risks and recommend actions to ensure compliance.
• Support tax planning initiatives and opportunities for tax efficiency.
• Maintain accurate and complete tax records and documentation.
• Provide tax-related reports, analyses, and recommendations to Finance management.
• Perform other finance and tax-related duties as assigned.
