The Assistant Manager - Talent Acquisition leads end-to-end recruitment for HQ and Retail Operations. The role converts approved manpower plans, business growth requirements, and attrition trends into practical hiring strategies; ensures timely, quality, and compliant talent delivery; and strengthens recruitment analytics, candidate experience, process governance, and team capability. The position is the primary Talent Acquisition partner of business leaders and is accountable for recruitment service levels and continuous improvement.
Partner with department heads and Operations leaders to translate approved manpower plans, store expansion, attrition trends, and critical vacancies into hiring forecasts, priorities, and timelines.
Develop sourcing and recruitment plans by role, location, volume, and required timeline; identify hiring risks early and recommend practical interventions.
Provide labor-market insights, talent availability, and compensation observations to support workforce decisions and realistic hiring commitments.
Oversee full-cycle recruitment for HQ and Retail Operations, from manpower requisition validation and sourcing through assessment, offer management, pre-employment requirements, reference or background checks when applicable, and onboarding handoff.
Set and monitor recruitment service levels, selection standards, documentation requirements, and candidate communication protocols across all requisitions.
Review critical-role shortlists, hiring endorsements, assessments, and proposed offers before final approval; ensure recommendations are evidence-based and aligned with approved headcount, qualifications, and compensation parameters.
Ensure competency-based interviewing and consistent candidate evaluation while maintaining a fair, inclusive, and professional candidate experience.
Ensure compliance with company policies, recruitment procedures, applicable Philippine employment requirements, data-privacy standards, and records-retention controls.
Lead, assign, coach, and evaluate the Talent Acquisition team; establish clear individual targets, workload priorities, service levels, and quality expectations.
Conduct regular pipeline reviews and case calibrations; remove delivery barriers and hold team members accountable for complete, accurate, and timely updates.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least eight years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience, including at least two years leading or supervising recruiters.
Demonstrated experience in both high-volume and professional hiring; experience in multi-site retail, food service, hospitality, manufacturing, BPO, or a similar fast-paced environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of workforce planning, sourcing strategy, competency-based selection, recruitment metrics, employment requirements, and data privacy.
Proficiency in MS Office and recruitment systems; experience with an ATS or HRIS, dashboards, and recruitment automation is an advantage.
Willingness to travel to outlets, recruitment events, and other work locations as business needs require.
