Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition (TA) Analytics Specialist provides workforce insights, market intelligence, forecasting, and systems support to improve recruitment effectiveness. The role ensures accurate, actionable TA data, dashboards, and analytics to support business growth, manpower planning, technical hiring, and critical talent needs.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Market Intelligence
Responsible for providing external labor market insights to support hiring strategy and workforce competitiveness.
- Conduct market studies on talent availability, competitor hiring trends, salary benchmarks, and skills demand.
- Monitor labor market movements across manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and corporate functions.
- Provide insights on emerging talent pools, location strategy, and hiring risks.
- Support sourcing strategies through market mapping and candidate supply analysis.
- Prepare regular labor market intelligence reports for HR and business leaders.
Skill-based Workforce Planning
Responsible for supporting workforce planning through capability and skills-based analysis.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to identify future workforce capability needs.
- Analyze critical roles, succession risks, and priority skills gaps.
- Develop workforce planning dashboards based on headcount, productivity, attrition, and growth plans.
- Support manpower planning for plant expansion, automation, and new business initiatives.
- Recommend hiring or reskilling actions based on workforce trends.
Hiring Forecasting
Responsible for generating recruitment demand forecasts and hiring plans.
- Analyze historical hiring patterns, turnover rates, seasonal demand, and production growth requirements.
- Build monthly, quarterly, and annual hiring forecasts by function and site.
- Track forecast accuracy and recommend adjustments.
- Support recruiter capacity planning based on projected requisition volumes.
- Provide scenario analysis for urgent hiring surges, attrition spikes, or expansion projects.
Talent Acquisition System Management
Responsible for maintaining TA systems, reporting integrity, and process efficiency.
- Administer applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment modules within HRIS platforms.
- Ensure candidate data, requisitions, workflow status, and reports are accurate and updated.
- Create dashboards for time-to-fill, source effectiveness, pipeline conversion, and offer acceptance.
- Partner with HRIS / IT teams on system enhancements and issue resolution.
- Train TA users on system processes and reporting tools.
Recruitment Performance Analytics
Responsible for monitoring TA effectiveness and operational performance.
- Analyze recruiter productivity, aging requisitions, funnel conversion, and service levels.
- Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
- Track quality-of-hire, retention, and hiring manager satisfaction metrics.
- Present monthly TA scorecards to leadership.
- Support budgeting and cost-per-hire analysis.
Data Governance and Continuous Improvement
Responsible for ensuring strong TA data quality and analytics maturity.
- Conduct regular audits of TA reports and system data.
- Standardize definitions, metrics, and dashboard logic.
- Improve reporting automation and analytics capability.
- Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of employee/candidate data.
- Recommend new analytics tools and best practices.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Human Resources, Business Analytics, Economics, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in HR analytics, workforce planning, TA analytics, or business intelligence.
- Experience in manufacturing or labor-intensive industries preferred.
