Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain a Windows and Linux based domain environment, ensuring system security and stability.
• Manage Linux server environments, ensuring efficient operations and integration with other systems.
• Virtualization and Cloud Management.
• Oversee VMware ESXi and vCenter operations and integration with other systems.
• Manage cloud-based services and infrastructure on AWS and Azure, ensuring effective integration with on-site systems.
• Administer Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication across the organization.
• Implement and oversee backup systems, ensuring data integrity and availability.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for critical IT systems.
• Lead and mentor a team of system administrators, setting goals, conducting performance reviews and facilitating professional development.
• Coordinate with various departments to align IT infrastructure with organizational needs and projects.
• Ensure system compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Proactively manage security measures to safeguard systems against threats and vulnerabilities.
• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting, resolving complex system issues.
• Implement proactive measures to prevent system failures and downtimes.
• Plan and execute technology upgrades and migrations.
• Lead IT Projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Liase with external vendors for system support, upgrades, and procurement.
