Job summary

Greensafe International Pte Ltd is seeking a responsible School Counsellor to provide first-line emotional and behavioural support for students. You will build trusting, confidential relationships and monitor at-risk students, coordinating with Year Heads and Counsellors to ensure safety and progress.

You will maintain accurate records, respond to crises, plan preventive wellbeing programmes, and communicate sensitively with parents/guardians while coordinating with external agencies when needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in counselling/related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.

Job description

Working hour

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:15 am to 2:45 pm

Key Roles

• Provide first-line emotional and behavioural support to students

• Build trusting relationships and a safe, confidential space for students

• Identify, monitor, and support vulnerable/at-risk students; maintain regular check-ins and track behaviour, attendance, well-being

• Work with Year Heads, School Counsellors, and Discipline Mistress for coordinated support

• Keep accurate, confidential records of incidents, interventions, and progress

• Respond promptly to crises; de-escalate and stabilise students

• Plan and conduct preventive well-being programmes (SEL, Peer Support)

• Communicate sensitively with parents/guardians; coordinate with external agencies when needed

Requirements

• Minimally a Diploma in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related discipline

• 2 years' relevant experience
