Job summary

SELF HELP GROUPS STUDENT CARE LIMITED is seeking a dedicated Student Care Officer to join our islandwide team. Based in a school-based centre, you will deliver high‑quality care and supervision to children in our after‑school programme, supporting their academic, social and emotional development.

You will work 11am–7pm during term time, with 8‑hour shifts between 7.30am and 7pm on school holidays. The role offers a collaborative environment and opportunities to impact children’s growth.

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Student Care Officer. We have islandwide locations available and the selected individual shall be based in a school-based student care centre. The individual is required to deliver high-quality care and supervision to children in our after-school student care programme.

What you'll be doing

1. Supervising and engaging children in a range of activities, including homework assistance, recreational play, and educational projects
2. Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care
3. Communicating effectively with parents and guardians to provide updates and address any concerns
4. Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the children's attendance, progress, and any incidents
5. Collaborating with colleagues to plan and implement engaging and age‑appropriate activities
6. Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

What we're looking for

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and their families

Working hours
