Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health Global Business Services – Manila is seeking a Workforce Scheduling Specialist to develop and maintain employee schedules, support staffing coverage, and optimize workforce planning across departments while coordinating with U.S.-based teams.

You will collaborate with department leaders, monitor vacancies, and ensure accurate timekeeping and payroll alignment, contributing to patient care continuity and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in workforce scheduling, staffing coordination or workforce management systems.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or Data Management.
• UKG Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain employee schedules in scheduling systems.
• Develop daily, weekly, and shift schedules with forecasted staffing demands.
• Process schedule requests including PTO and changes per policies.
• Publish schedules after self-scheduling periods to ensure coverage.
• Assign specialty roles based on staffing models.
• Monitor vacancies and post shifts to address gaps.
• Maintain accurate schedule data and open shifts.
• Support staffing decisions using patient volumes and budget.
• Prepare staffing reports for leaders.
• Review timecards for accuracy and compliance.
• Resolve timekeeping discrepancies before payroll.
• Collaborate with managers to improve scheduling.
• Participate in workforce planning and training.
• Provide basic user support for scheduling systems.
