Job summary

IAN SMART ENERGY CORP. is seeking a Sales Trainer to develop and elevate the capabilities of the sales team in the Philippines.

The role focuses on delivering comprehensive training on products, pricing, company policies, and sales processes to enhance knowledge, selling skills, and customer service. The position involves creating and updating training materials, coaching staff, and coordinating with the Sales Manager to identify needs and measure program effectiveness across branches, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• 5–10 years experience in sales, sales training, or sales supervision is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills.
• Must be willing to travel to different company branches within and outside Luzon for training and official business.

Responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions for new hires and existing sales employees.
• Develop and update training materials, presentations, and sales guides.
• Train employees on product knowledge, pricing, company policies, and sales procedures.
• Teach effective sales techniques, negotiation skills, objection handling, and customer communication.
• Monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Provide coaching and feedback to employees to improve their sales results.
• Conduct role-playing activities, assessments, and product knowledge evaluations.
• Assist in onboarding and evaluating newly hired sales employees.
• Coordinate with the Sales Manager and Team Leaders regarding training needs and performance concerns.
• Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.
• Ensure that sales employees follow company standards and provide accurate information to clients.
• Prepare training reports, attendance records, and employee performance evaluations.
• Conduct refresher training when there are updates to products, pricing, promotions, or company procedures.
