Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate sales training programs for new hires and existing sales employees.
• Conduct onboarding and orientation programs for newly hired sales personnel.

• Develop and maintain training modules, presentations, manuals, assessments, and materials.

SALES TRAINER

Job Summary:

The Sales Trainer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering effective sales training programs to enhance the knowledge, skills, and performance of the sales team. This role focuses on onboarding new sales employees, conducting continuous sales training, coaching employees on sales techniques, and identifying training gaps to improve sales productivity, customer engagement, and achievement of business targets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and facilitate sales training programs for new hires and existing sales employees.
• Conduct onboarding and orientation programs for newly hired sales personnel.
• Provide one-on-one and group coaching to sales employees.
• Identify individual performance gaps and recommend appropriate coaching or development interventions.
• Develop and maintain training modules, presentations, manuals, assessments, and other learning materials.
• Ensure training content is aligned with current products, services, sales strategies, and company processes.
• Identify training and development needs through performance data, sales results, quality monitoring, employee feedback, and manager recommendations.
• Analyze common performance gaps and recommend appropriate training solutions.
• Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, employee performance, sales results, and feedback.
• Track training completion, attendance, assessment results, and other relevant training metrics.
• Partner with Sales Managers, Team Leaders, HR, and other stakeholders to align training programs with business objectives.
• Support sales initiatives, product launches, campaigns, and process changes through appropriate training.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Education, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in sales, sales training, coaching, or learning and development.
• Proven experience in conducting classroom, virtual, or blended training.
• Strong knowledge of sales processes, techniques, and customer engagement strategies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong coaching and mentoring abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and presentation tools.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to analyze performance data and translate findings into actionable training programs.
