Job summary

South Star Drug is seeking an HR Officer - Organizational Development to support and implement initiatives that elevate employee performance, leadership capability, talent management, succession planning, and overall organizational effectiveness. You will collaborate with business leaders to align workforce capabilities with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, psychology, behavioral science, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Human Resources with significant exposure to Organizational Development and Succession Planning.
• Proven experience in talent management, performance management, and leadership development.
• Knowledge of competency-based frameworks, organizational design, and change management principles.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of organizational development programs and interventions.
• Identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and workplace culture.
• Support change management initiatives and organizational restructuring projects as needed.
• Lead and coordinate succession planning to ensure leadership continuity and talent readiness.
• Identify critical positions and develop talent pipelines for key roles.
• Partner with department heads to assess high-potential employees and create development plans.
• Monitor succession metrics and recommend talent development strategies.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of performance management systems.
• Assist managers in goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development planning.
• Analyze performance trends and recommend improvement initiatives.
• Identify competency gaps and recommend learning and development solutions.
• Coordinate leadership development and career progression programs.
• Support training needs analysis and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Prepare reports and presentations on organizational development and talent management initiatives.
• Analyze workforce data to identify trends and support decision-making.
• Monitor HR metrics related to succession planning, employee development, and organizational effectiveness.
• Recommend enhancements to HR processes, organizational structures, and employee development programs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and HR best practices.
