The role emphasizes coaching staff, communicating targets, and coordinating with Merchandising to optimize inventory and storefront performance in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Monitor sales performance of the branch and clearly communicate objectives to the team.
• Achieve stock control targets in line with company guidelines to prevent loss.
• Communicate with Merchandising on stocks to maximize stock potential.
• Oversee merchandise supplies and stock inventories.
• Implement safety and security measures for employees and customers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and continued patronage through efficient service.
• Oversee store operations and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Ensure attainment of sales quotas/targets.

Key Accountabilities

Business Strategy

• Monitor sales performance of the branch by clearly and concisely communicating the business and store objectives to all team members.

Stock Management

• Achieve stock control targets in line with company guidelines to prevent financial loss.
• Communicate with the Merchandising team regarding the stocks in the area to maximize stock potential.
• Oversee an adequate merchandise supplies and stocks inventories.

Customer Engagement/Satisfaction

• Implement safety and security control measures which include safety of employees; safety of customers/visitors/etc.; security against merchandise loss/damage/pilferage.
• Ascertain customer satisfaction and continued patronage through efficient performance of customer service function.

Store Operations

• Oversee overall store operations and ensure that the store adhere to compliance requirements in operations, company policies and procedures.
• Ensure consistent attainment of sales quotas/targets.

People Management

• Evaluate staff’s performance and ensure that company standards are maintained.
• Facilitate and cascade communication across the store organization.
• Manage, train, and develop the team to drive business performance.
