Job summary

Robinsons Supermarket in the Philippines seeks an IT Support Specialist to provide on-site or remote assistance for store and DC operations. You will troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, install hardware/software, and support inventory activities across multiple stores.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in IT/CS/CE, 1+ year of hardware/network troubleshooting, and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to end users. Field work across the country is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Preferably 1 year of experience troubleshooting and maintaining hardware and network installations. POS support is an advantage.
• Able to explain technical concepts clearly to end users.
• Willing to do field work across stores nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve application, hardware, and network concerns within SLA; endorse out-of-scope issues to the appropriate resolving team.
• Provide on-site support for store activities such as inventory and offsite selling, ensuring proper hardware and system configurations.
• Assess IT assets to identify outdated or malfunctioning units and recommend upgrades or replacements.
• Install and configure standard hardware and software applications for stores and distribution centers, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Provide correct store sales files to the sales processing team if postings fail due to corrupted or missing files.
• Conduct regular system and network maintenance and proactively recommend improvements.
