Job summary

Robinsons Supermarket seeks an IT Support Specialist to provide on-site or remote assistance for store and distribution center IT concerns. You will analyze and resolve application, hardware, and network issues, install hardware/software, and maintain IT assets to ensure optimal performance.

You will conduct field work across stores nationwide, supporting inventory counting, offsite selling, and resolving posting issues with correct files for processing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, CE or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in troubleshooting hardware and network installations.
• POS experience is an advantage.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to end users.
• Willing to do field work across stores nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and resolves application, hardware, and network concerns within the expected service levels and endorses out of scope concerns to the appropriate resolving team.
• Delivers on-site assistance and support for store activities such as inventory counting and offsite selling, ensuring that the proper hardware and system configurations are provided.
• Conducts comprehensive assessments of IT assets, identifying outdated or malfunctioning units and providing recommendations for upgrades or replacements.
• Installs and configures the standard hardware and software applications for the stores and distribution centers, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Provides the correct store sales file to the sales processing team in cases of failed posting due to corrupted or missing files.
• Conducts regular system and network maintenance activities, proactively recommending solutions to enhance overall system output and performance.
