Job summary

Maya is seeking a Technical Operations Engineer in Manila to own root cause analysis, automation design, and resiliency for core services. You will implement automated workflows, dashboards, and robust alerting while reducing incident recurrence and improving uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• 4+ years in Technical Operations, SRE/DevOps or similar roles.
• Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, JavaScript).
• Strong understanding of monitoring platforms, logs, traces, and metrics.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and configuration management tools.
• Exposure to observability solutions (Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus).

Responsibilities

• Act as escalation point for high-severity incidents.
• Design and develop automation scripts and tools to reduce manual work.
• Build dashboards, alerts, and health checks for meaningful insights.
• Lead RCAs and implement permanent fixes.
• Improve signal-to-noise ratio in monitoring and alerting.
• Collaborate with engineering to strengthen system resiliency and self-healing.
• Document best practices, runbooks, and standards.
• Shift on 12x4 schedule to support 24/7 coverage.
