Job summary

Maya is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the Partner Marketing Solutions team. You will lead reliability across ad delivery, orchestration, and partner integrations, shaping automation, scalability, and fault tolerance for millions of Maya users.

You will own incident response, define SLOs, and drive observability while mentoring engineers in best practices and cloud optimization. This role requires deep Kubernetes expertise and strong scripting skills.

Qualifications

8+ years in SRE, platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering (or equivalent).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
High expertise operating production Kubernetes and service mesh (Istio) at scale; Terraform and Helm; GitLab CI/CD and ArgoCD.
APM and distributed tracing experience; leading incident response, deep dives, and RCA.
Go or Python and shell/Bash for automation and internal tooling.

Responsibilities

Lead reliability for PMS platforms and architect scalable cloud-native infrastructure.
Harden partner integrations and ad-delivery paths with timeouts, retries, and latency SLOs.
Drive automation and GitOps with IaC modules and CI/CD workflows for safe deployments.
Own incident command and RCA; lead major incidents and blameless RCAs.
Set reliability governance, SLOs, and telemetry with privacy and consent in mind.
Mentor engineers on SRE practices and optimize capacity and cost.
