Risewave Consulting, Inc. seeks an Engineering People Manager to lead 8–12 SREs/DevOps in a 24/7 setting at Mandaluyong office. You will mentor engineers and drive shift rota execution while building technical capability.

Required 5+ years in SRE/DevOps, 2+ years in people management, strong Linux/Kubernetes/cloud knowledge, and proven coaching ability to uplift junior engineers into mid/senior roles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SRE/DevOps.
• 2+ years in direct people management or team lead.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, public cloud, observability tools, and incident management.
• Proven coaching and developing junior engineers.
• Hands-on experience managing 24/7 operational shifts and rotas.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a pod of 8–12 SRE/DevOps engineers in a 24/7 environment.
• Mentor junior engineers, focusing on their progression to mid/senior levels (60–70% of the pod).
• Own shift rota execution and team wellbeing/fatigue mitigation.
• Drive technical capability building across the team and operations.
