About the role
The Sr. HR Coordinator serves as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Philippine government benefits, statutory transactions, labor compliance reporting, and government agency coordination. The role is responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, and compliant administration of employee government benefits, statutory filings, and regulatory requirements. As the primary liaison with government agencies, the Sr. HR Coordinator manages agency transactions, addresses compliance matters, and provides expert guidance and support to employees and internal stakeholders. The role also contributes to process governance, compliance readiness, continuous process improvement, and knowledge sharing across the HR team.
Key responsibilities
- Administer employee government benefits transactions and ensure accurate and timely processing in accordance with applicable Philippine regulations and company procedures
- Process SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG membership registrations, updates, and other employee transactions
- Coordinate and process government benefit claims, including sickness, maternity, salary differential, and other applicable statutory benefits
- Facilitate government loan requests and assist employees with required documentation and processing requirements
- Maintain accurate employee government benefits enrollment records, transactions, and supporting documentation
- Serve as the primary liaison with SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, DOLE, and other applicable government agencies
- Prepare and submit DOLE Establishment Reports, WAIR reports, and other mandatory labor and statutory reports within required deadlines
- Prepare, maintain, and monitor government compliance trackers to ensure the timely completion of statutory submissions, employee registrations, and reporting requirements
- Develop, maintain, and update procedures, workflows, and documentation for government benefits and statutory administration
- Cross-train HR Coordinators on basic government benefits processes and procedures to strengthen team capability and business continuity
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in HR administration, employee benefits, government benefits administration, or a related HR function
- Strong working knowledge of Philippine government benefits and statutory requirements, including SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and applicable DOLE requirements
- Hands‑on experience processing government benefits, claims, registrations, employee updates, loans, and statutory transactions
- Experience coordinating directly with government agencies and resolving employee or regulatory concerns
- Strong understanding of Philippine labor compliance reporting and statutory filing requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, confidential, and audit‑ready employee records
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and regulatory requirements
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain government benefits and statutory requirements clearly to employees and HR stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant HR or government online portals
