Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management in the Philippines is seeking a seasoned business development professional to drive growth across IT services and software offerings. You will collaborate with Marketing to identify sales leads and convert them into opportunities.

This role requires a strong background in pre-sales, proposal creation, negotiation, and closing deals, along with building lasting customer relationships and supporting delivery teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop sales leads with Marketing.
• Nurture leads into qualified opportunities.
• Lead pre-sales activities including value proposition, proposals, and negotiations.
• Close deals and finalize commercial documentation.
• Act as a solutions consultant when possible.
• Build strong relationships with customers.
• Monitor delivery engagement and support the Delivery Team.
• Report pipeline status and forecasts regularly.
• Drive revenue and growth for the assigned verticals.
• Acquire new customers and expand existing accounts.
• Provide management with customer feedback and market intelligence.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, information technology, or a related field.
• 5 years experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within IT.
• Strong understanding of IT services, software solutions, cloud, or digital transformation offerings.
• Has background in the IT software and hardware industry with great exposure in either of the following

Responsibilities

• Works with Marketing to identify and develop sales leads.
• Nurtures leads into qualified opportunities.
• Takes charge of pre-sales efforts, including the creation of a value proposition, the preparation of the proposal and the negotiation process.
• Takes charge of closing and finalizing commercial documentation.
• Acts as a solutions consultant whenever possible.
• Develops a strong relationship with our customers.
• Monitors and assists the Delivery Team during the engagement period.
• Reports status of pipelines and funnels on a periodic basis.
• Responsible for the revenue and business growth of the verticals being covered.
• Responsible for acquiring new customers and growing them.
• Provides management with customer feedback ad market intelligence.
