Job summary

ARDESIA RESORT & SPA is seeking an Assistant Spa, Gym & Recreation Manager to oversee daily operations of our spa, gym, and recreational facilities. The role requires leadership, strong customer service, and experience in hospitality, hotel, or resort environments with spa or wellness exposure.

Ideal candidates will supervise staff, manage schedules, ensure service quality, and coordinate with other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences while upholding safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, hotel, or resort industry with spa/wellness/recreation experience.
• Strong customer service and guest-relations skills.
• Proven leadership and team supervision abilities.
• Good English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day spa, gym, and recreation operations.
• Supervise spa therapists, gym staff, and recreation staff.
• Assist with staff scheduling, attendance, and performance follow-up.
• Ensure services, bookings, and guest activities are delivered professionally.
• Maintain high standards of guest service, cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and facility presentation.
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Assist with bookings, memberships, and daily operations.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments for smooth service.
• Support training and motivation of staff to uphold standards.
• Prepare daily operational reports and assist administrative tasks.
