Job summary

Job Vacancy Phil is seeking a pre-sales solutions engineer to collaborate with account managers and translate client requirements into comprehensive technology solutions across IT infrastructure, networking, cloud, and cybersecurity. You will develop proposals, BOMs, and SOWs, and present solutions to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• 2–4 years in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or related IT roles.
• Strong IT infra, networking, cloud, and cybersecurity knowledge.
• Experience designing solutions and developing proposals (BOM/SOW).
• Familiar with RFP/RFQ processes and enterprise sales cycles.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• CCNA, AWS, or Microsoft Azure certifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with account managers to identify, qualify, and develop sales opportunities while gaining a clear understanding of client requirements.
• Design and present end-to-end technology solutions across IT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing, cybersecurity, data protection, VoIP, and business continuity.
• Conduct client presentations, product demonstrations, proof-of-concept (POC) activities, and technical workshops.
• Develop detailed technical documentation, including proposals, BOM, SOW, and solution designs aligned with client needs.
• Coordinate with vendors, distributors, and technology partners to ensure accurate pricing, licensing compliance, and solution compatibility.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused value propositions for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support bid management activities, including RFPs, RFQs, and other tender processes.
• Stay current with emerging technology trends, industry developments, and competitive solutions.
• Ensure smooth handover of solutions to post-sales, delivery, and implementation teams.
