ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Soft Services Associate Manager — Staff to lead frontline service teams, elevate cleanliness standards, and ensure a welcoming, safe, and exceptional experience for every guest at our premier waterfront destination. You will supervise housekeeping, janitorial, waste management, pest control, and landscape maintenance operations — driving consistency, efficiency, and pride across all public and operational areas. This is a hands‑on leadership role: you will be on the floor daily, mentoring teams, refining processes, and upholding the highest standards of service and presentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Team Leadership & Deployment
- Lead, schedule, and supervise soft services staff — janitorial, housekeeping, waste management, and landscaping teams — ensuring full coverage across all operating hours including weekends, evenings, holidays, and peak events
- Conduct daily briefings, shift handovers, and performance check‑ins; set clear expectations, reinforce grooming and conduct standards, and build team morale
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and leave; resolve scheduling gaps and deploy resources dynamically
- Train new hires and upskill existing team members on cleaning methods, equipment use, chemical safety, customer interaction, and property standards
2. Standards & Quality Assurance
- Conduct regular rounds and inspections across all public areas, restrooms, lobbies, corridors, parking zones, and back‑of‑house facilities — verify cleanliness, order, and presentation meet premium benchmarks
- Audit service delivery; identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions immediately
- Oversee waste segregation, collection schedules, recycling programs, and pest control monitoring — ensure compliance with environmental regulations and local ordinances
- Manage supply inventory, cleaning equipment, and consumables; prevent shortages, minimize waste, and control operational costs
3. Vendor & Contract Management
- Supervise third‑party service providers for specialized tasks — deep cleaning, facade maintenance, landscaping, and pest control — monitor performance against SLAs and contractual standards
- Review service reports, approve work done, and elevate non‑compliance issues promptly
- Coordinate with procurement on material sourcing and cost‑effective alternatives without compromising quality
4. Stakeholder & Guest Experience
- Serve as escalation point for guest and tenant concerns related to cleanliness, maintenance, and service; resolve issues courteously and follow through to closure
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and tenant relations teams to align soft services with property‑wide initiatives, events, and operational needs
- Uphold and model professional conduct, courtesy, and service excellence — embody the destination’s welcoming spirit
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports — service ratings, compliance scores, attendance, and cost efficiency — for leadership review
