VTSA INTERNATIONAL INC. is seeking a Site Engineer - Mechanical to supervise and coordinate on-site mechanical installation activities, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and quality.
You will work across projects, particularly elevator and escalator installations, coordinating with clients, contractors, and project teams. The role requires reading mechanical drawings, planning manpower/materials, and ensuring OSH compliance.
The Site Engineer - Mechanical is responsible for supervising and coordinating on-site mechanical installation activities, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with approved plans, technical specifications, and quality standards. The role involves monitoring site operations, coordinating with clients, contractors, and project teams, and resolving technical issues to ensure the successful completion of mechanical works, particularly elevator and escalator installations.
Supervise and monitor daily mechanical installation activities at assigned project sites.
Ensure that all mechanical works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, company standards, and client requirements.
Coordinate with the Project Engineer, Project Manager, contractors, consultants, and clients regarding project progress and site concerns.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety regulations.
Monitor project schedules and report project accomplishments, delays, and issues to management.
Assist in planning manpower, equipment, and material requirements for project implementation.
Review technical drawings and provide technical guidance to installation teams.
Coordinate material deliveries and ensure proper utilization of tools and equipment.
Identify and resolve technical issues encountered during installation.
Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and company safety policies.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly accomplishment reports and other required project documentation.
Coordinate with the Testing and Commissioning Team to facilitate project testing, commissioning, and turnover.
Participate in client inspections, punch listing, and project acceptance activities.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Preferably a Licensed Mechanical Engineer.
At least 1 year of experience in construction, mechanical installation, or project site supervision is an advantage.
Fresh graduates and newly licensed Mechanical Engineers are welcome to apply.
Knowledgeable in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and engineering plans.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
