Job summary

Site and Studio is seeking a Civil Engineering graduate for a 6-month on-site contract to assist in supervision, inspections, coordination with contractors, and ensuring compliance with plans and safety standards. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assist in the supervision and monitoring of daily construction and engineering activities on-site to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, project schedules, and quality standards.
2. Conduct regular site inspections and assessments to monitor work progress, workmanship, safety practices, and site conditions.
3. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and personnel regarding site operations, technical concerns, and project requirements.
4. Review and interpret engineering drawings, plans, specifications, and related technical documents for proper implementation on-site.
5. Prepare and maintain site reports, progress updates, inspection records, accomplishment reports, and other project documentation as required.
6. Assist in quantity verification, material monitoring, and evaluation of completed works for billing and project control purposes.
7. Identify and report technical issues, construction conflicts, delays, or non-conforming works and assist in recommending corrective actions or solutions.
8. Ensure compliance with occupational safety standards, company policies, and applicable engineering codes, laws, and government regulations.
9. Participate in project meetings, coordination activities, and site conferences as required by the Employer or Project Management Team.
10. Assist in project planning, scheduling, and implementation activities to support timely and efficient project completion.
11. Maintain proper documentation and filing of technical drawings, reports, permits, correspondence, and related project records.
12. Perform other engineering, technical, administrative, or site-related duties that may be assigned by the Project Engineer, Senior Engineer, or Management from time to time.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; site engineering experience is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of construction methods, engineering standards, and project documentation
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of AUTOCAD is an advantage
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Contractual position for 6 months, willing to travel and be assigned to project sites
