Job summary

VTSA International Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer (Mechanical Engineer) to plan, coordinate, and supervise installation and execution of mechanical projects, especially elevator and escalator systems, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to standards.

You will liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams; review drawings and specs; monitor progress and budgets; conduct site inspections; and prepare reports through turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Fresh Licensed Mechanical Engineers are encouraged to apply.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer (ME) preferred.
• Proficient in reading mechanical drawings, technical plans, and engineering specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise project execution from mobilization through completion and turnover.
• Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and scope of work before implementation.
• Monitor progress to ensure schedules, budgets, quality and safety requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and verify installation quality.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and government agencies.
• Supervise site personnel, subcontractors, and installation teams.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit project reports and turnover documentation.
• Coordinate with Testing and Commissioning Team for testing and project acceptance.

Job Title: Project Engineer (Mechanical Engineer)

Job Summary

The Project Engineer (Mechanical Engineer) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the installation and execution of mechanical engineering projects, particularly elevator and escalator systems. The role ensures that projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with company standards, technical specifications, and client requirements. The Project Engineer serves as the primary liaison among clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure successful project implementation and turnover.

When

• Plan, organize, and supervise project execution from mobilization through project completion and turnover.
• Review project drawings, technical specifications, contracts, and scope of work prior to project implementation.
• Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with approved schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify installation quality and adherence to engineering standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and government agencies regarding project requirements and progress.
• Supervise site personnel, subcontractors, and installation teams to ensure efficient project execution.
• Identify project risks, technical issues, and delays, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit project reports, accomplishment reports, inspection reports, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with the Testing and Commissioning Team to ensure successful testing, commissioning, and project acceptance.
• Monitor material requirements and coordinate procurement to avoid project delays.
• AND
• Attend project coordination meetings and represent the company during client meetings and site inspections.
• Assist in project billing documentation, punch listing, and final project turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Preferably a Licensed Mechanical Engineer (ME).
• At least 1–3 years of experience in project engineering, construction, mechanical installation, or elevator/escalator projects is an advantage.
• Fresh Licensed Mechanical Engineers are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledgeable in reading mechanical drawings, technical plans, and engineering specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
• Willing to travel and conduct fieldwork.
• Willing to be assigned to project sites as required.
