Autohub Group of Companies seeks a Service Manager to oversee the dealership's Service Department, ensuring efficient repair, maintenance, and release of vehicles while delivering excellent customer service. The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations and performance of the dealership’s Service Department. The position ensures efficient vehicle repair and maintenance operations, excellent customer service, technician productivity, quality workmanship, and achievement of service department targets. The Service Manager also leads and develops the service team while ensuring compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
Oversee the daily operations of the Service Department, including service reception, repair, maintenance, and vehicle release.
Lead, supervise, coach, and evaluate Service Advisors, Technicians, and other service personnel.
Ensure efficient workflow and proper scheduling of service and repair jobs.
Monitor technician productivity, efficiency, utilization, and repair quality.
Ensure that vehicles are properly diagnosed, repaired, inspected, and released on time.
Monitor and achieve Service Department targets for labor sales, parts sales, gross profit, customer-pay, warranty, and maintenance services.
Ensure excellent customer experience by addressing service concerns, complaints, and escalations promptly.
Coordinate closely with the Parts Department to ensure timely availability of required parts.
Monitor repair orders, job progress, warranty claims, and service documentation.
Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, technical procedures, warranty policies, and dealership SOPs.
Conduct regular monitoring of service quality, comeback repairs, and customer satisfaction.
Implement measures to improve service productivity, profitability, and operational efficiency.
Monitor service equipment, tools, facilities, and workshop cleanliness and safety.
Prepare and analyze departmental reports, including service performance, productivity, sales, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
Identify training and development needs of service personnel and coordinate appropriate training programs.
Ensure proper implementation of safety and environmental procedures within the workshop.
Work closely with Sales, Parts, Finance, and Administration teams to support overall dealership operations.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
At least 3–5 years of experience in automotive service operations, preferably in a dealership environment.
Previous supervisory or managerial experience in an automotive service department is required.
Strong knowledge of vehicle repair, maintenance, diagnostics, and workshop operations.
Knowledge of dealership service processes, warranty procedures, and manufacturer standards.
Strong leadership, customer service, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Good understanding of service department financial and operational metrics.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Willing to work on weekends and holidays as required by dealership operations.
