Job summary

CTBC Bank (Philippines) Corp. is seeking an IT Server Administrator to ensure availability, performance, and reliability of servers and related services. You will monitor health, perform housekeeping, manage email systems and oversee ATM deployment and maintenance.

The role requires experience in Windows/UNIX systems, familiarity with ATM systems (NCR ATMs), and a service-oriented mindset. Four-year computer-related education or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• College degree and/or four-year computer-related course or equivalent experience.
• At least three years IT work experience.
• Two years system administration of Windows and UNIX systems preferred.
• Experience with ATM systems, particularly NCR ATMs is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and service-oriented attitude is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure server availability, performance, and reliability through regular monitoring and maintenance.
• Conduct daily server health checks to verify service accessibility, hardware functionality, and overall system stability.
• Perform server housekeeping to manage storage capacity and prevent resource-related issues.
• Monitor the availability of email and anti-spam systems for reliable email delivery.
• Track server utilization (CPU, memory, disk) and escalate capacity issues before they impact operations.
• Install, configure, test, and deploy servers with standard images and installation procedures.
• Troubleshoot server, hardware, email, network share, and connectivity issues; coordinate with external vendors for resolution.
• Review email and server resource usage, identify misuse, and report violations to management.
• Manage email systems, including user accounts, distribution lists, routing permissions, and anti-spam configurations.
• Oversee ATM deployment, testing, OS and hardware changes to increase service availability.
