Job summary

OpsArmy is seeking a Level 2 Tax & Accounting Support Specialist to handle complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries. The role requires strong accounting judgment, independent problem solving, and excellent English communication.

Expect coverage from 8:00 AM–8:00 PM Eastern Time with shifts overlapping US business hours. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and Zendesk is beneficial, with a focus on documentation and continuous workflow improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in US accounting and taxation is required or strongly preferred.
• Proficient in bookkeeping, tax return review, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Strong English communication, written and verbal, with ability to explain complex topics.
• Able to investigate, document, and resolve escalated inquiries independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate escalated tickets, review reconciliations and transactions, and resolve issues.
• Assist with tax notices, filing status questions, and tax return questions within scope.
• Document resolutions, maintain customer records, and suggest workflow improvements.
• Communicate findings clearly via Zendesk, email, and scheduled calls.
