Job summary

OpsArmy seeks an experienced Tax and Accounting Support Specialist (CPA / Enrolled Agent preferred) to provide specialized Level 2 support for US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries. You will apply strong accounting judgment to investigate and resolve complex issues and communicate findings clearly.

The role requires working 8:00 AM–8:00 PM ET with overlapping US business hours, handling escalated tickets, and coordinating with internal experts.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting experience with exposure to US accounting and taxation.
• Ability to review tax and accounting inquiries and provide detailed explanations.
• Strong English communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies, reconciliations, and transactions.
• Assist customers with tax-related questions and payroll issues.
• Communicate findings via Zendesk, email, and scheduled calls.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve workflows and resources.
