Job summary

Aptonet is seeking a ServiceNow Platform Developer to design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities. The role spans ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog, Asset Management, SPM, and SecOps, including custom apps and integrations.

You will implement business rules, UI policies, ACLs, and workflows, ensuring secure, scalable solutions with proper governance and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with ServiceNow platform development and configuration.

• Experience across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog, Asset Management, SPM, SecOps, and Custom Applications.
• Familiarity with scripting frameworks, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
• Proficient in REST and SOAP integrations and CMDB integrity.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities.
• Implement solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog, Asset Management, SPM, SecOps, and Custom Applications.
• Develop and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, ACLs, Flow Designer workflows, and IntegrationHub automations.
• Create secure, scalable, and reusable custom applications while minimizing unnecessary customization.
• Design, develop, and support REST and SOAP integrations with internal and external systems.
• Maintain CMDB integrity and support configuration management best practices.
• Manage source control, update sets, deployment activities, and release management processes.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, optimize system performance, and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide sprint estimates, and consistently deliver committed work.
• Ensure compliance with platform governance, development standards, and security best practices.
• Contribute to continuous platform improvement, documentation, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
