Job summary

V.Group in Manila is seeking a Senior Crew Coordinator to manage seafarer mobilization for designated nationalities. You will coordinate with training centers and medical providers, and contact seafarers throughout the mobilization journey.

The role requires ensuring all pre-deployment requirements are met, maintaining records, and supporting the Crew Cell. Hybrid/onsite involvement may be needed to ensure continuity of mobilization operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/College Degree required; vocational diploma accepted as alternative.
• Strong computer skills including word processing and spreadsheets.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely processing of visa and joining formalities onsite.
• Review and verify pre-joining seafarer documents onsite.
• Prepare seafarers for deployment by ensuring certifications and medicals are completed.
• Maintain contact with personnel during leave and mobilization.
• Coordinate with Training Dept to ensure enrollments are completed on time.
• Maintain records in ShipSure Crewing and upload documents as required.
• Process flag state document applications and maintain control procedures.
• Provide administrative support to Crew Cell and act as backup for the CMM.
• Perform other tasks to support mobilization operations.
