Job summary

V.Group in Manila is seeking a senior Seafarer Assessment Lead to evaluate officer technical skills, behaviours and experience for recruitment and progression. You will conduct structured interviews and provide endorsement decisions for officers against clear criteria.

You will collaborate with Recruitment, Professional Development, Planning and HR to maintain effective handoff processes and to continuously improve assessment standards across vessel types and roles.

Qualifications

• Interviews for seafarer recruitment and promotion decisions.
• Assessing officer technical skills, behaviours and experience.
• Ability to collaborate with Recruitment, PD, Planning and HR.

Responsibilities

• Conducts structured competence assessment interviews for roles.
• Evaluates seafarer qualifications and test results for suitability.
• Provides endorsements and promotion decisions for officers.
• Develops interview guides and assessment materials.
• Improves assessment standards and hand-off processes between functions.
