Job summary

Siemens in the Philippines seeks a dynamic Sales Engineer for Protection & Automation and MV distribution solutions. You will identify opportunities, manage the full sales cycle from engagement to closing, and build strong customer relationships across consultants, EPCs, utilities, and industry segments.

You will interpret SLDs, protection schemes, and architectures, collaborate with Tendering and Engineering, and drive competitive proposals with a strong focus on negotiation and CRM accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in PA, SCADA, MV switchgear, or technical sales in electrification and automation.
• Strong understanding of MV distribution systems, protection schemes, and automation architectures.
• Ability to interpret SLDs, wiring diagrams, GA drawings, and system architectures.
• Proficient in MS Office; CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and AutoCAD/Visio viewing are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop business opportunities for Protection & Automation, SCADA / Digital Substation, and MV distribution solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to order closing.
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants, EPCs, utilities, and key segments.
• Conduct customer visits, technical discussions, and solution presentations to influence specs.
• Interpret customer requirements, SLDs, protection philosophies, and MV layouts for compliant solutions.
• Collaborate with Tendering and Engineering to develop proposals and provide sales handovers.
• Support tender clarifications, bid evaluations, and manage sales forecasts and pipeline.
• Monitor market trends and pricing movements to drive account growth.
