Job summary

Maschinen & Technik, Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Sales Engineer to identify current and future customer service requirements and to generate high-quality sales leads.

You will provide technical information on products, services, or equipment and help secure and renew orders with negotiations and deliveries. The ideal candidate holds an Electrical Engineering degree, has at least 2 years of relevant experience, and can relate technical details to non-technical customers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent.
• Knowledgeable in pump & motor fundamentals and controls and/or Renewable energy is an advantage.
• With at least 2 years relevant experience.
• Experience with sales of transformers and other parts to Electric companies or with experience and connections in dealing with electric companies.
• Experience with sales distribution of utility, cables and other electrical parts.
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in solar renewable energy.
• The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
• Willing to be trained with different product lines.
• Computer literate & articulate in both oral & written communication.
• Organized, aggressive, and result-oriented
• Must be able to work under minimal supervision.
• Applicant must have an outgoing personality.
• Preferably residing in the South (Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Laguna, Cavite, etc)

Responsibilities

• Identifies current and future customer service requirements.
• Generates high-quality sales leads, follows up after initial contact, secures and renews orders, negotiates prices, completes sales, and arranges deliveries.
• Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information.
• Solicits and logs client feedback and evaluates the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
