Job summary

SMEC seeks a seasoned Project Planning & Scheduling specialist in the Philippines to lead detailed schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, establish WBS, milestones, and deliverables aligned with TOR, and coordinate with the engineering team.

You will monitor schedule performance, prepare weekly/monthly dashboards and KPIs, and manage variation orders, risk, and contract-related matters across cost, schedule, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in project controls within engineering, construction, or EPC projects.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
• Establish WBS, milestones, and deliverables aligned with TOR.
• Monitor schedule performance and critical path impacts.
• Coordinate schedule updates with technical engineering team.
• Measure progress and prepare weekly/monthly reports with dashboards.
• Identify and manage changes, risks, and contract variations.
• Review contracts and ensure compliance with TOR and scope.
